New year, new goals! And since I’m a librarian, this year they’re categorized.
YOGA
explore more styles of yoga- choose a training program in at least one new style or a 500 hour teachers program for 2012
- up into classic headstand without wall support
- learn more about pranayama
FINANCIAL
get a new credit card that works for me- review my retirement savings and up my contribution
- create a roadmap for putting savings into an emergency fund, paying off one student loan and putting savings into a travel fund
CAREER
networking! Get out there and get moving- join at least once local professional association
- begin to set up the “next step” for my career
FITNESS/WELLNESS
run at least three times a week- weight train at least once a week
- yoga at least twice a week
- continue to eat healthy, happily and safely
- complete the Ras na hEireann 5k in under 30 minutes

This is a lofty list of aspirations, resolutions and goals. It’s always great to have a reason to lean forward and at the same time know that it’s not failure if all is not met in a 1/1/12 deadline. Good luck! And Happiest of New Years to you!
